The springtime blossoms are here! These small, delicate green-yellow flowers could grow and mature into currants later this year, if they're visited by the neighborhood pollinators!

Spring is here! Fluffy (black rooster) and his little flock of hens scratching about for spring treats (bugs, fresh plant growth). The 2 turkey boys who have decided they live here too are trying to figure out how they fit in (hint: introductions are awkward!).

Stinky cat got a bath (awful for everyone involved) and is now tongue-bathing herself more than I've ever seen before ... Apparently shampoo and water don't make her clean enough, only saliva and tongue bristles will do 😅

A bit of an upset in our chicken run today! A juvenile Northern goshawk (I think) made an inadvertent dive into the chicken enclosure and got trapped under the wire net. All the chickens appear safe, our rooster Fluffy did such a good job taking care herding all the hens into the coop.
