Just muddling along.

Banner: The Conjuror by Hieronymus Bosh (1502) - an allegory for our time.
Corruption.
Plain and simple.

First companies get rich selling us crap which makes us fat and riddled with illness.
Then other companies get even richer with promises of making us thin and well again.
Sounds about right.

Until this country regards the principle of people owning their own home as more important than people's right to enrich themselves from investing in additional properties the housing crisis in the UK will not be solved.

In all fairness, from what I gather Barbara Castle had more balls than the entire cabinet combined.

And yet he's the president of the US of A.
Either because people were stupid enough to vote for him or too lazy to vote at all.
Where and why did it go so wrong.
THAT'S the question we need to ask ourselves.

In any other - more sane - universe this deranged, corrupt, sociopathic narcissist would be told to take some time out and get some intensive therapy.
Instead he's the president of the most powerful country on earth.

These people shouldn't be banned.
They should be scrutinised, debated and exposed as the dense halfwits they are.

When Trump says things have never been better, he means for his own personal finances.
He's a sociopathic powerhungry narcissist. He doesn't give a single toss about the American people.

Basically, the whole speech is more damning than the edited clip.
So maybe as a show of contrition, the BBC should screen the whole speech every day until it comes to court.
Accuracy matters.

Nothing screams weakness like the complete inability to cope with any form of scrutiny.

The leader of the so called "free" world once again showing us what he really stands for.
Pathetic little weasel that he is.

That lady journalist has got more balls than the the two corrupt buffoons together.
November 18, 2025 at 6:15 PM
Will have a look.
Thank you.
November 17, 2025 at 10:04 PM
No, didn't realise 😂.
Will read the book (she said, feeling slightly daft...)
November 17, 2025 at 3:59 PM
I will.
Thanks.

I'm new to all this and read somewhere that disaster capitalism identifies the exploitation of chaos as a deliberate political strategy to implement economic changes.
But could it not be the other way round? Could it not be a deliberate economic strategy in an attempt to implement political change?
