Thank you! I try haha 😅
From my experience, it’s oftentimes the kids of parents who struggle with ELA themselves, often due to low educational and economic resources available to them. Low income communities should get more, not less $ for educational opportunities imho.

No worries! I can see how that was an easy jump to make, especially on the topic of the misuse of generative AI. It’s a growing problem for sure! 👍

I couldn’t agree more! As a parent I’ve strived to inspire multifaceted literacy and creative critical thinking skills. We are avid book readers and love the local library, so I hope that continues into adulthood for them.

When I was recovering from my TBI, ChatGPT basically became my brain’s understudy. It helped me find words when my brain was “wonky donkey”, read when my vision was like a broken 3D TV, and introduced me to tools I didn’t know existed. Also helped me get organized and figure out my medical results.

As someone with a TBI, I have pointed out the benefits l've personally witnessed and experienced with Al, as it was an accessible and known resource for me and others amongst some of the minority of ChatGPT users. That is all. 😊

So true and an unfortunate use of AI.

This is a fair and valid point. I’d love to see more free resources available to neurodivergent and elderly individuals that don’t have a detrimental impact to the environment. If you or others know of some, please lmk. 🫶🏻

The irony that would have been if it were true! 😂

Sometimes people with TBI’s use ChatGPT as an aid to simplify, because using their damaged brain isn’t working. It also helps them have some sort of independence with communication etc. I’ve seen it first hand help stroke victims. Just my 2 cents. 😅

I get it, originality is important, and if ChatGPT goes down, most of us can still write fiction. But for people with brain injuries or challenges, it’s a lifesaver. It helps them communicate, stay organized, and manage life. Not everything AI does is robot poetry, sometimes it’s about independence.
