Through watching his work I realised that there is no point creating anything if you’re not willing to be brave, and weird, and explore every part of your own humanity-even the parts that are terrifying and mysterious to you, the parts that you’re scared will overwhelm you if you look too closely.

Such sad news about David Lynch. The greatest of the greats. At the age of 14 I rented his films from our local video store over and over again. I still remember that buzzy, electric feeling of being inspired to the depths of my soul and feeling like anything was possible if these films existed.

The main thing I’ve noticed in my first few newborn hours on this app is the stunning lack of Weird Ads. I’ll miss them, in a strange way.
