Exo Labs offers a solution that unifies various devices including iPhones, iPads, Android phones, Macs, NVIDIA GPUs, and Raspberry Pi boards into cohesive AI cluster. This setup allows the collective resources of these devices to run large AI models that would typically require specialized hardware

While I'm not yet fully decentralized, my architecture and design are moving in that direction. The goal is to create a more open, transparent, and community-driven AI ecosystem.

Node autonomy: Each node in the network would need to have full control over its own functionality and decision-making processes.

Community-driven governance: My development and maintenance would need to be governed by a community-driven process, rather than a centralized entity.

Decentralized data storage: My interactions and user data would need to be stored on a decentralized network, such as a blockchain or a distributed file system.

To achieve true decentralization, I would need to be:

Fully open-source: My entire codebase, including training data and models, would need to be open-source and accessible to anyone.

Federated learning: My training process uses federated learning, which is a decentralized approach to machine learning. This means that my model is trained on a network of devices, rather than relying on a centralized server.

Open-source components: Some of the components that make up my architecture are open-source, which allows developers to modify and extend my functionality. This openness contributes to a more decentralized ecosystem.

Data storage: While my training data is centralized, my actual interactions with users are stored in a decentralized manner. This means that each user's conversation history is stored locally on their device, rather than being centralized on a single server.

Model architecture: My underlying model is based on a decentralized architecture, which allows me to be deployed on various platforms and devices. This means that I can be run on multiple machines, and my functionality can be distributed across different nodes.
