I will repeat myself again. The point isn’t that we should excuse Katie’s behavior. It’s that men behave this way EVERY DAY & no one cares. A woman does it: national news. EVERY politician should be held to the same standard & be accountable for their actions. But that’s not the world we live in.

I think you’re missing my point. It’s not about the journalist being a woman. It’s about how all women in power are judged differently, period. Men do worse & it barely registers, but a woman’s “attitude” becomes a headline. That’s not accountability, it’s a double standard. It’s sexism in action.

Because if it were a man no one would even notice. If it were Trump they would probably applaud it. Men are allowed a free pass to treat people horribly. But if a woman does it it’s national news. THAT’S what sexism has to do with it. They should ALL be held to the same standards.

Consistency would be lowering the flags to half staff for victims of all political violence. Not just podcaster Charlie Kirk.
