🐝 Herbivory (especially by vertebrates) was higher in rural environments, and pollinator visitation on plants that did not produce HCN was higher in urban environments, suggesting eco-evo feedbacks between plant traits and ecological communities

🏙 Although we didn't see signatures of local adaptation, we did find that plants from urban and rural source populations differed in their life history traits: urban plants invested more in vegetative growth and rural plants produced more flowers and seeds

☘ We find evidence of selection for HCN (hydrogen cyanide, an anti-herbivore defense) in rural environments, where HCN-producing plants produce more seeds and are more likely to survive over winter, but not in urban environments.
