I was incredibly honored to receive the Penn ID Divisions Citizenship Award. It was made even more incredible to receive it alongside Dr. Florence Momplaisir, who has been a personal inspirations to me as a physician-scientist & advocate.

Funding cuts don’t only hurt the researchers who spent their lives dedicated to science. They hurt everyone, especially patients who rely on the lifesaving therapies developed by this research.

Thanks to everyone who joined our @drsforamerica.bsky.social Docs on Call event tonight to tell our legislators to restore the public health guidelines & resources that were removed from the CDC & other federal health agencies last Fri. Many essential resources are still gone! #patientsoverpolitics
