They aren’t going to fly it in Winter for one thing. Alaska is very nice in the summer with long daylight hours and plenty to do and see.

Less than a week later, we have another almost identical incident. This time with a Cathay 747-8F. The Left Main Wing Gear did not come down. Aircraft landed safely.
