Seeing our incredible director and dear friend, Kate Blackmore, introduce the film was so moving. Kate is an extraordinary talent and under her vision and the tireless work of Producer - Bethany Bruce, this project was painstakingly crafted with deep care and respect, and it truly shows.

On a personal note, thank you the Antenna team for inviting me to be on the shorts jury and to Kate Vinen for her wonderful programming. It’s an honour to support such an important festival in Australia, and to play a role in supporting filmmakers.

We selected Breaking Plates by Karen Pearlman as the winning film. We also wanted to Highly Commend the film Stone Lions, Liquid Lions, by Georgia Plantzos. Congratulations to all the filmmakers and their teams!
