This is ridiculous. The FDIC receives $0 in taxpayer funds. Their funding comes from member banks’ insurance premiums. In exchange, not one dollar of FDIC-insured money has been lost.

The fanaticism that surrounds Buc-ee’s is something I thought only existed in fiction. The place was packed with people and when they brought out the beaver mascot you would’ve thought people saw their god. All over a gas station. People from other countries would be so confused hearing this.
