You should note that the question in the poll explicitly linked ending the program with Poilievre. That almost certainly explains the partisan split.

He has a slew of recommendations, which I am certain will never be implemented in any meaningful way because that would negate the point of the program- creating an easily exploitable pool of workers without rights.

I would suggest reading the full report. The rapporteur makes mincmeat of claims the program has been reformed, and was alarmed by stories he heard. Governments keep claiming they will make adjustments - but the system is deliberately and fundamentally exploitative
