3/ -I will give it to DT+Vance, while they have changed the course of the USA, they has been consistent. Ukraine is not important to them & they only want something if it's transactional, where the USA gets at least a 70-30 in the deal (a generous interpretation).

2/ -This is not how you treat a guest. Putin would not receive such grilling. The bad jokes, being teamed up on etc. was too much.
-VZ sees through DT & that he does not care about Ukraine, so he loses nothing. He gained more by standing up respectfully. He had listened more than he resisted.
