Have you spotted the new mural at East Croydon Station yet?

Great to chat with Natasha Irons MP about the story behind it.

Christmas has come early for Croydon 🎄 After years of underfunding, a Labour government is delivering the fair funding our borough deserves - thanks to the relentless work of Labour’s Mayoral Candidate, Rowenna Davis. Proud to back a party that delivers for Croydon.

An honour to attend Mayor Princess Bright’s fundraising Christmas Dinner ✨ Her leadership is genuinely inspiring, especially for young women across London. Proud to support fundraising for Crohn’s & Colitis UK and AB Phab.

A full day in Bensham Manor! Out on the doorstep with Rowenna Davis and Croydon West MP Sarah Jones, speaking to residents about fly-tipping and parking.

This afternoon we delivered 300+ leaflets and handwritten Christmas cards 🎄✉️

Honoured to share a mural project I’ve been co-leading on Billinton Hill, celebrating Croydon’s everyday heroes and native plants. Created with Yvonne Tran, Ruthie Maketa, Max Kenna, Angela Vanegas and ECCO, funded by Kew Gardens and GTR. More soon 👀

Last night I attended the Croydon Safer Neighbourhood Board meeting and a Q&A with Superintendent Luke Dillon. Croydon has the most missing children, Fairfield the most crime, LFR is being piloted in Croydon, and Thornton Heath faces high county lines activity.

Feeling emotional sharing this: I received First Class Honours for my Master’s dissertation!

‘You’re Not You When You’re Hungry’ explored how hunger and deprivation shape young people’s safety - and why prevention has to start with meeting basic needs.

Spoke at the Voice of the Child Conference at Boxpark this week.
"Young people first" isn't enough - the how matters. Inspiring to see so many committed to putting youth voice into action.

Thank you to Reaching Higher & the Croydon Safeguarding Children Partnership for hosting.

Great to be out in Bensham Manor on Monday (despite the freezing weather!). Residents raised issues around irregular bin collections, street cleanliness, and we supported a resident experiencing periods of homelessness with their housing application. 🌹

Canvassing in Thornton heath this morning and phone banking members in Fairfield this afternoon 🌹

I bumped into Tara - my youth worker from age 10. Those evenings at the youth club weren’t just a couple of hours; they were a safe space and someone to talk to. Now a youth worker myself, I really appreciate the impact she had. A full-circle, emotional moment!

A smiley evening with your Bensham Manor councillor candidates 🌹 Residents raised concerns about parking, street cleanliness, and a household waiting two months for a boiler repair. Being accountable matters - no one should go cold that long.
