I agree. Social media has not helped. The local groups went nuts about Dun Laoghaire becoming a low traffic neighbourhood. You would swear we banned cars from existence. Fury over cycle lanes. Each parking space worth the lives of 5 cyclists etc.... the last bit was exaggerated.... only just...

This, and cyclists all seen as part of Woke green agenda and anti-car zealots, when they are just choosing a transport option.
I cycled everywhere as a teen, and felt safer then

I've seen loads of drivers mount the path to undertake the row of traffic and turn left.
Honestly, people have become impatient and angry since covid.
And there is no traffic enforcement.
And people see bikes and bike lanes as the reason for their delay, not the number of cars.

Is this how we treat people with disabilities? I would never treat anyone like that, let alone someone in a wheelchair.

Yep. Had hip replacement on Wed. Couldn't get the postal vote certified by a dr in time. All other patients beside me the same. Ridiculous. First time since I turned 18 that I didn't vote.

4 and a half years on list, and waiting.....

A whole pile of right wing shite was being pushed on me. Centrist/left wing opinions seemed to be filted out of my algorythm. People seemed unafraid of being openly racist or bigoted. Angry ireland-first, maga, uneducated lovers got really really loud
