I too had to forego my regular plasma/blood donation when they detected MGUS which is an indicator (less than 10% )of possible Multiple Myeloma. two years down the track I was diagnosed with MM. Winner winner!
Whilst disappointed I can no longer donate I encourage my friends and family to do so.
