So... I can't make these kinds of dessert loaves to save my life! I forcibly volunteered my mom into doing it instead! 😅 BUT I did all the measurements & made the bread maker cheesy loaf!

the seeds over night & their roots stretch all the way back to where Ari's people are from originally. They bury their dead at the roots of the apple tree, so they can find their way home.
Eastern lanterns are similar. Families create lanterns for those who passed, add it to the family altar- 2/3

When someone passed on, as per tradition, a new lantern was made in their honor, added to the family altar by a window overlooking the ocean, and kept lit for the soul to find its way home. Always. They were easy to find, but for those who made their living by the water, whose fortunes could ebb and flow like tides, and mostly such tides proved low, they were far from easy to obtain. Food or lantern was not a decision he would have them make. There proved no better medicine for Henry than Fra’s exhausted babbling. “And why’s that?” The echoes of pain radiated from his feet, but he couldn’t seem to help himself. “Stop,” she mouthed to him, but he gleefully ignored her. “Hallucinations are rather lovely when it’s her,” Fra murmured into his pillow, burying his face into the feather down. Sare bit her lip. “Hallucinations, huh?” Henry’s attempt at grinning grew. “Puck!” He was living up to his nickname and had no intention of stopping anytime soon. “I’m warning you!” His eyes seemed to question just what she might do to him. “Almost makes the King’s sword fighting worth it,” Fra’s slurring became progressively worse. “Say she were here right now,” Henry wiggled his brow at Sare who smacked her forehead. The moment he was up and running around again, she’d twist his ear something awful, mimic Hayworth perfectly. The little shit! “What would you want to do? What would you want to say?” “Not stutter.” Fra yawned. “I know that.” Henry rolled his eyes. “Not that she cares about that. For what it’s worth, you’re doing pretty well, right now.” “You know what I mean.” “Come on, Fra. What would you say?” “I dunno. That she’s not just pretty. She’s radiant. Maybe kiss her. Many of the characters in my Be Series love the Queen's room in Midgrim's castle. It is a sanctuary of love and warmth in the midst of the castle's (and really the whole kingdom's) coldness and violence!

12- #FantasyIndiesNovember- Come up with a hook. One really interesting line, even if you wind up changing it later. It's kind of like hooking the reader, but I find it helps me a lot as a writer to get the ball rolling. (I.e. I used this one for When Morning Comes: Lady Evangeline was a question.)

11- #FantasyIndiesNovember- I'm pretty eclectic as a reader. According to StoryGraph, though, top genres for the year include Fantasy, Short Stories, LGBTQ+, Romance, Horror, & Historical. As a writer, it seems the majority of my books probably lean more toward or have some element of fantasy.
