Kids in school being hungry is nothing new We use to just let them be hungry The only thing new is government deciding that no child should be hungry and starting a school meal program. It's called having empathy for your fellow people

You don't need to be that remote to not get service from other companies I live in a rural community 15 minutes from a town and Canada post and 1 other company will deliver to my area Most people have no idea that it is their only way to get things

If canada post didn't have to deliver to every Canadian for the same price they would make money When a package or letter goes for the same price to a remote location it's not cost effective Thats why it needs to remain public so all Canadians get service for the same price no matter where you live

This is so stupid. People have no concept of what it's like to live in rural Canada. Rural Canada is what ultimately makes the post office not profitable Everyone in every corner gets delivery for the same price. A stamp doesn't cost 10x more because it costs 10x more to get the package there
