Slowly building a new profile. Still at the other place. Hope to focus more of film/theatre chat and other interests without some mad political algorithm invading my feed!
I’m wading through all the Oscar nominated films so cinema is taking front seat at the moment.

Still, going to see Mrs. President this week.

The District Line bing bong door chime is definitely part of John Williams’ score from Hook.

Not sure. I get the concept but I’ve met some absolute morons with degrees. Some barely have a basic level of comprehension and it makes me think they’re just lying.

I tried to watch the US one, but it was just a bunch of existing fame hungry reality show contestants, and the prize money wouldn’t mean much to them. Takes all the fun out of it.

The best one is “From the studio that brought you…”

Would actually love to see them marketing Sonic The Hedgehog 3 as “from the studio that brought you The Godfather “

My office doesn’t shut. It’s really quite nice going in on those days because only about 20% of people are in and it’s quiet and casual anyway.

I was incredibly productive and got to watch about 10 years worth of old EastEnders episodes I’d already seen from the Drama channel repeats.

I am beat that with a screening of The Batman. Young couple in front of me their early 20s. Male turns to female companion - “That’s Batman”.

Worst accent - Denzel Washington’s “Cockney” accent in For Queen and Country.

It’s much better than it could have been. Personally I think Fred Claus is particularly underrated.

Netflix still the least watched of the ones we have. It’s a bit of a mess of low quality content. Amazon is worth it for the Prime delivery and they have a huge library of random classic films. Would be lucky to find anything pre-1990 from Netflix. Love AppleTV+ the most.

It’s still annoying that this was on our original VHS copy and then it was gone from the DVD ☹️

Just called a Garden Sweeper I think. Many different brands available.

These things are much better for collecting leaves.

They could have at least replaced the music with AC/DC rather than the boring repetitive film score. And now it’s practically a dark ride because there’s nothing fun to see on the track.

That’s so much better than the one in Paris, where they re-themed it to The Avengers and taken out all of the fun that was in the original.

I lucked out and got Millionaire and Rich… for your sake I hope it’s all crap!

This article was quite fascinating as to measuring “global reach” by Wikipedia article language translations. I recommend it!
