I found this one thing that makes me like sitting outside when it's easy to freaking hot!

The nine-year-old in me can't believe I get to do this.

It's the perfect solution, though certainly not posh or swanky! Not even bougie!

It's just a big tub of fresh cold hose water.

It's delightful! 3/3

Love summer food! Cold salads, anything on the grill, all the fresh produce!

I like the shortened hours my employer allows. I get off work with hours of daylight left

But the heat, friends. The heat is my nemesis. I hate to sweat!!

I can't just lock myself up in the a/c for the whole summer 2/?

Summer is my least favorite season. Don't come at me, I didn't say I hate it.

Ok I sort of hate it.

But there are good things about summer I guess.

I like linen. Fresh pressed linen is lovely.

I like that people are outside. I wave at my neighbors, they walk past my house with their dogs. 1/?

If you're looking for some alternative programming tomorrow, I'll be on All Things Considered along with two other biblical scholars talking about MAGA messianic exegesis.

people need to start to read up on what surrogate violence is and how modern authoritarian states export their most violent tendencies to groups that are willing to act in the kind of ways that Paxton here is apparently telegraphing. This is how fascist state violence works now. Its participatory.
Paxton doxed the doctors home address in the lawsuit too. It's extremely clear his goal is to drive harassment her way. This is what anti abortion extremists have done in the past to successfully get providers murdered.
This is a vehicle for Ken Paxton to challenge shield laws protecting abortion access in blue states.

It's not enough to end abortion in their states, they must end it nationally. We can expect the Trump DOJ to side with Texas.
