You’re right to call out misplaced priorities. It’s frustrating to see leaders protect the powerful instead of everyday people. We can push it to live up to its values by staying involved and demanding better.

I hear you, no one should struggle to earn a fair wage. There’s a lot that needs fixing, but I still believe we have the ability to make things better together. Calling out problems is important, and so is working to improve the country we all share.

I totally get the frustration, but it’s not just about “stupid people.” As Barack Obama warned, our democracy is under stress from a lack of shared facts, eroding norms, and rising division.
