His body was never found.
A century later, in Jan 2016, his grandson, David Robert Jones, better known as David Bowie, died.

Today I am grateful for making leaf mould. Lovely compost for my garden using some RHS sacks and local obliging trees. A lady with a stick said thank you because she was worried about slipping on them. I am excited to see how it turns out!
