Just rewatched The Borderlands (2013) and if anything, it scared me so much more than on the first watch, which is a rare and lovely thing. With some horror films, knowing what it’s all building to and what’s really driving it makes it even more terrifying and dreadful (see also: Lake Mungo)

My mum just sent me some incredible family photos from the late 19th - early 20th century which I’ve never seen before and I feel a bit emotional

Unsure why the weather in Yorkshire is so gorgeous at the moment but it’s been much warmer in October than it was at any point in September. Probably not a good thing climate-wise and we need some frosts soon, but it was fun to take my 2 stinky gremlins out without a jacket on
