I’m sorry that happened to you. It happens to all of us at one time or another, but it doesn’t make it hurt less. Loss of trust is very real. The worst part is assuming that you were the one at fault. That’s likely untrue. They hid something from you until you were committed. Not you at all.

That won’t fly, I don’t believe. Most judges of any stripe detest meddling politicians. Makes them mad and gets their stubbornness going. They’ll lock arms to protect each other. It’s like that blue line thing cops have. You don’t come from the outside and attack a judge. Doesn’t work.
