If you can be happily married in Vermont in winter, you can be happy anywhere. A wet cave is friendlier than late January up here. Luckily there’s winter wine and a reinvigorated woodpile. The cherry smells divine and burns long. The birch crackles. Tonight I feel like we’ll probably need both
