In general, depression scores tend to reduce over time. Indeed, this study found precisely that! And yet, they still reported these useless results and got published, and have been included in dozens of systematic reviews since.

Sometimes I just despair about published trials.

This RCT, cited 90 times as per Scholar, reported massive benefits for psychodynamic psychotherapy.

The only problem? Outcomes assessment was conducted a FULL 20 WEEKS LATER IN THE TREATMENT GROUP THAN THE CONTROL.
