Your 6'3" curly Ellen on the train. Weapon wife. 🏳️‍⚧️ 🏳️‍🌈 Late 40's, navigating life and trying to be the woman I've always felt like. And one day I'll be just.. Ellen. 🥰 Love to paint my nails and share music and silly stuff.
Wow, that's amazing pictures. 🥰 I looked at them over and over, and what was the question again? 😄

You look great, plus it was nice to see the one picture of you without the glasses. 😀

Kan ikke Marius bli konge, da? Åpen livtidssoning inne på slottet, med fotlenke som ikke tillater ham å gå utenfor. Pluss 3 timer med tvungen vinking hver 17. Mai?

In short, between the issues (what at least *felt* like issues) back then, having western civilized countries turn into dictatorships wasn't one of them.

I agree, and I've been thinking about it as I'm about to turn 50. It's easy to think that you get more nostalgic the older you get, and for 15-25 year old me, life wasn't always happy. But this era is probably the safest and most optimistic times that the world has seen, and that's changed now.

Good example, thanks. 😀 The same story of urban "slum" demolished in the 60's and 70's, and replaced with densely populated concrete buildings. Often creating a hive of crime, poverty and antisocial behavior. But then again, also with a sense of community among the people that lived there.

No, this was good input. 😎 I'm already reading up on it. The concept is explained well in the article.

Wow, thanks! Sure a contrast to the brutalist buildings, with the Streets in the Sky, and deck access flats. I'm from Scandinavia, so this literally could be a buildung in any suburb here, except ours tend to be less colorful. 😄

How did things end up here, just out of curiosity? In case you know. Some of these, for instance Hulme in Manchester, really failed. Intriguing stories in retrospect, though.

Is this another one of those terrace neighborhoods that they demolished in the 60's and 70's, and replaced with huge brutalist concrete public housing? I'm interested in architecture, and its not that long ago that I read up on these (ofte failed) projects in that era. 💥

Have you had it professionally refurbished/skimmed, or have you just given it a proper cleaning? Looks good, never seen a system with built-in tubes for the spark plugs. 😀 I assume these protrude through the valve cover? 🤔

When we mention Shania, I did revisit her yesterday. And.. I found another one of my older Shania favorites that I played a lot back then, but have forgotten about. The woman in me. There must be a pattern. 😄

I was totally off! 😄 Well, I remember that song too. The CD is still in my CD shelf, maybe I'll revisit it today.

I bought this album too when it came out. My favorite song from it is You're still the one. 🥰 That song is still among my 50 all time favorite songs. So my guess for your favorite song is either that song, That don't impress me much, or From this moment on. Let me know which song it is. 😀

Too bad I live so far away, or I would have invited you out for a coffee some day. Or.. a beer. I was in Stuttgart not that long ago, and I love some of the beers you have there. 😀

We'll also hope that the fan is powered through a fuse that's easy to flip out by mistake. ⚡😄

Hi! Always nice to see you. 😀🥰

Good job, hopefully the remaining stuff is easier. 😀 I just realized I have a bad water pump, so I'll probably be stuck outside working on my car too soon. 😅

Wow, good luck on putting it back together. Keep us updated. I took the cylinder head off of my old Opel Omega and replaced the timing chain once. But when you were younger, nothing was ever a problem. 😅

Oh wow, that's a bit beyond my skills. 😬 What happened that required the cylinder head to come off?
