Catching up on your posts - the dog painting is excellent!!

I think your comment in profile about not having natural talent is wrong - you clearly do - and skill with watercolor coming along beautifully.

Your natural talent also shows in the way you react to the Sargent paintings

Saw an exhibition of Sargent watercolors from Spain in San Francisco in 2023. Absolutely stunning.

I'm with you - I love the paintings of Sargent (oil and watercolor)

I thought this particular one (Interior in Venice) is superb when I saw it yrs ago. Surprised to know that the older lady in portrait rejected the gift as some aspects did not appeal to her (!) Hard to imagine turning this down

😆 Named by @bsky.tdunning.com who noticed I was taking a walk once/hour when I was working to go to the trees and back.
My version of a "walking desk"

Woody = Redwood
Doug = Douglas Fir
Red = bigger Redwood

I like the art work on wall behind your fermentation

Isn't that an odd pattern? This is such a pretty little tree, leaves fruit and all

Ted doesn't like them, and pecans seem like those delicious nuts you get from your Aunt Ellen's tree when you live in Texas.

So it's a big leap to realize that even without TX or my sweet aunt's tree, it is possible to get & eat pecans.

End of news report. 2/2

Little house we rent is barely heated, so we accidentally simulate your winter (sort of) even in our mild climate. I guess you are cozier inside than we are

Long ago I shared office at UCSD with prof from Canada. He said winter in La Jolla was coldest he had had 'cause same temp indoors and out😆
