It may well have been, I don’t recall which platform I was reading it on. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ll be glad to look though because I didn’t get to finish it!
Currently trying to finish reading all the Giller prize-winning novels after realizing last summer that I’d not even read half of them (😒) a few left to go!

I read an article about the best book covers last year and this was one of them.

The U.S. is burning the proverbial candle at both ends if it allows childhood death rates to climb(the outcome of vaccine reduction)to put it bluntly will reduce available military “bodies” in a generation while they need those soldiers to take over the western hemisphere.Tongue in cheek, sorta.😐

I’m a little sad for you.😕

I’ve read several of John Irving’s novels, a couple of them are favourites. However I was disappointed with The Last Chairlift, and ultimately didn’t finish it-rare for me, I just found it circuitous and frustrating. Maybe I’ll give the newest one a try and hope it’s more to my liking.🤷🏻‍♀️

Keep holding them to account Tyler! Patients are not receiving adequate care under the lying Ford government; healthcare staff are stressed and exhausted. Today I heard of a hallway patient whose “room” was made by using a curtain to partition some space in front of an elevator! Ford is a fraud!

Sounds like a story in the making.🙂❤️

Trump is much more controversial; he’d better tread lightly around his “guest.”

They deserve this and better benefits, and our veterans deserve more.

Maybe this is meant to be “tongue in cheek” humour but it hits the wrong note if I may use musical jargon. Mr Lightfoot was already a well established singer/songwriter; a massive star in the 70’s and beyond. His poignant ode to the Edmund Fitzgerald made the tragedy unforgettable for generations.

Gordon Lightfoot died in May of 2023. On November 10th in Detroit that year, the bell rang 30 times; once for each man lost on the Edmund Fitzgerald and once for Mr Lightfoot, a sign of respect for his work in writing such a tribute.
The man in the article is a nitpicker and your comment spot on!

Just received Covid and influenza vaccines this week to bump up protection. At least two units on outbreak at local hospital and it’s barely talked about in the community. It’s difficult as a healthcare professional to not feel defeated after nearly six years of this.

This while also losing Billions of extra dollars in healthcare funding during/after COVID.
Forensic audit please!! Ontarians deserve to know where OUR tax dollars have gone; crooked politicians must be held accountable.Ontarians struggle with daily expenses while Ford and cronies line their pockets.

I was surprised (watching from 🇨🇦) at the number of empty seats I saw at Dodger’s stadium, I believe that Roger’s center was sold out just for a watch party while the team is thousands of km away!

That could be a massive Halloween prank.😈

This just breaks my heart afresh each time I read it, though I love it so much.

Trump’s “less than a full deck” of cards consists mainly of Jokers and Knaves, although he thinks he’s a King.🙄

Thanks! I’ll have a look.

Ok please tell me where you found that? My daughter would love it!

Our Premier should be held accountable for purposefully destroying our social systems and causing real harm to Ontarians in order to stuff the pockets of his friends and himself. What happened to the RCMP investigation?

This is precisely the iconic ad that came to mind; thanks for sharing.😏

Still on about the plums?

I have a small section in my home library for books about various historical plagues; I’m a healthcare professional and have an interest in such events. At some point it occurred to me that I’ll need to add a book about COVID-19.😒
