This is true but I actually don’t mind because I like making sure folks are getting home safe. Also like the ability to leave when I want to 😹

Yes and there is another top piece that is curved like a basket that he sleeps in often. But lately it’s been the hole shelf. It is cute when his fluffy belly hangs down though.
