Reading Murakami, and listening to Paul Desmond on Brubeck's "You Go To My Head", drinking black tea. Heaven!

"Intuition" acrylic and collage on 10x8" cradled wood panel. I find joy and peace in making art. We all need an activity that supports our mental health. ❤️

I create visual art because I have to. I hope these images will communicate love and confidence; it is what I do and it comes from my heart to yours.

I am not a political scientist or even a wonk, but it seems to me that when you fire thousands and thousands of people you create an angry mob.

I have been calling my "representatives", Cornyn, Cruz, and Babin, and recently I phoned Greg Abbott as well. Yesterday I asked them to stop supporting the criminal Trump/Musk administration. I characterized that support as making them accessories after the fact.

I searched on Google Maps for Gulf of Mexico and it changed to Gulf of America. I wanted to comment but Google said no.

Progress, hexagram 35 of the I Ching. The image is the sun rising above the earth. I wanted to paint something hopeful about Light; that it always returns. I tried to find an alternative to Instagram because of the recent changes but so far, nothing is quite right. I hope you are all doing well.

Finally, we’re starting to see some fight. We need more of this 🔥

🚨Trump’s decision to shut down USAID has frozen critical work to deliver vital assistance around the globe, and put China in the driver’s seat.

I am not an economist, a political pundit, just an artist. What I see happening in the USA is the ejection of Hispanic immigrants, permission of the police to do harm to Black people, and the impoverishment of the white population, to force most of us into virtual slavery.

Bingham started doing these drawings two days after the fires began. She realized she couldn’t afford to donate to all of her friend’s recovery funds. So she put out a call on Instagram asking people to send her pictures of their homes, which she'd draw for free. via @kcrw.com
An artist gifts 1,000 drawings of homes destroyed by fires
One artist’s offer to create free portraits of homes destroyed in the Palisades and Eaton Fires generated hundreds of requests.
