Does he think it’s working for people as it is now? Interesting. I’m in Australia and we pay the taxes and get free hospital care and more. Can’t find too many folks here wanting to give that up.

I do have a clue actually, after working for 35 years in many different corporate roles and organisations I’ve lived the boring meeting scenarios and not given in to the sleep urge. Also my comment was about Trump sleeping- really shouldn’t be a passive attendee.

Ummm I may feel sleepy…but I DON’T SLEEP. Because I’m working and I’m still in control of myself. What a ridiculous article, trying to minimise the fact that the lives of millions are in the hands of a man who can’t make it through a meeting.

"scientific orthodoxy" is where you look at facts and publish what you find out. "Challenging" it is when you insist on believing things inconsistent with facts established through empirical methods. It's idiocy and CDC is being forced to align with idiocy.

As the victim of heinous cheating over years, I find this (popular) take a complex excuse for avoiding hard actions. The myth that people prefer to stay in the dark while others exploit their ignorance is silly. People can choose to stay anyway, but they should have a choice. Silence is complicit.
