What’s the rationale for this? Is it that UK didn’t require a certain vaccine but the US did? Or HIV related? It seems very specific to ban people who spent time there 40 years ago. I feel like I must be missing something (I’m also so damn tired, so that could be my fault for posting, not sleeping)

For a crappy combo of medical & practical reasons, a titer check wasn’t gonna happen for me. So I booked the MMR appointment on the C/V/S website. It was covered by my lousy (but NY lousy) ins. I’m notorious for having serious post-vaccine reactions & all I had some arm pain & 2 days of feeling meh.

Anecdotally, I’m seeing more masking on MTA/NYC transit. I saw at least 2 dozen masked people - mostly properly & about 3/4 were 94/95s - this morning/early afternoon. I haven’t seen that many masks in probably three years. I’ve made this same trip monthly and usually only see 1 or 2 masks total.

This is super useful! One wrinkle: If you’ve already seen tips 2 & 3 elsewhere, you’ll have to undo them both, then do step 1, then re-enable 2 & 3. The step 1 option is barred from being changed if you’ve gone out of order. Because apple. 🤦♀️

I don’t get it either. I once saw a game from one of the private boxes. I basically had to watch the game on the tvs because you couldn’t see the ice. (I was a tag-along, the box wasn’t actually for me). It was a lesser hockey experience than regular seats.

Another potential member of the club! I circle around and around all the time. Got up at 7am today? So it’ll be 9-10a tomorrow and 11a-12p the next day. It’s pretty trippy to schedule things - will I be awake at 1p next Friday?? Sleep disorders suuuuuck.

lol that was me two weeks ago. I chose my second thigh tattoo because it could be made to be about the same size as my first one. I told my tattooist this and he was like yup, makes sense, I’ll get right on it. I love my guy.

I can’t think of anything canonical that proves either of us right. And I kind of love that. Best I can guess at is the rash that was only where the uniform was until BJ gave him an order to wear a slip underneath. And that favors you. 🤔

I’ve lost my whole life. All preventable things too. I’ve also spent my whole life trying to make other people win or at least lose less. Unless someone is responsible for causing major harm to others (then all bets are off & I go full evil), I want them to have better than me and I’ll work for it.
