There has been a lot of focus on the District’s budget due to an effort in Congress to force the District of Columbia to cut 1 billion dollars in spending 6 months into the fiscal year. Budgets can be complicated, so to combat confusion I’d like to introduce “The District Budget, 101 pt 1”. 1/4

Welp. There's EVERYTHING I NEVER TOLD YOU and LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE, marked as "remove from all libraries" as of October. 🙃
Clay updated their review database with the decisions for the nearly 50 objections filed last month.

Every single one of them was either restricted or removed.

These decisions were made without reading the books and without a public review committee.

On Thursday, two major humanitarian groups joined the chorus of experts and other human rights organizations saying that Israel’s slaughter of Palestinians and leveling of Gaza for the past 14 months is consistent with genocide under international humanitarian law.

The groups are the latest to join the large number of prominent voices accusing Israel of genocide or genocidal acts.
