The upright standing stone at Drumtroddan is around three meters high. Two falllen stones lie nearby. They are thought to date to the second or third millennium BC.

I chanced on this dolmen at the back of Locronon, a village in the hills in Finistèrre, Brittany. With attendant standing stone and a further three stones lying in the grass #TombTuesday

This is the beautiful Sainte- Marie-du-Ménez-Hom in Brittany. The three stone slabs laid at the gateway are covered in cups, thought to be re-used stones from a local dolmen.

Loch Lomond

On my way back from Dundee, with a quick detour to this rock art panel at the edge of the car park in Rait.
