The countryside used to be full of cars rotting away. Then there was a campaign saying "would you invite a guest to your home if your living room looked like this" and it didn't take too long for the cars to be dealt with. I was actually thinking about this last week when driving to and from Vík.

I'm currently at 190 books and more than a month left of the year 🤷🏻♂️
Many are re-reads and comfort reads (listens as I prefer audio books) because that's what I have been needing this year.

Today I left it, lid off, for about 90 minutes. Went to Uni to work on my paper. Realized on the way there that I'd forgotten my cup and asked DH to put the lid on. Came home about 5 hours later. It was the perfect temperature to drink!

I'm looking at Fable and there are no audio book features, that's my preferred method of "reading". Mixing in TV shows is an interesting choice, but I use My Drama List to keep track of the K-dramas that I watch.
Might try it along StoryGraph for a bit, but doubt I'll be a convert.

English is not my first language, and I'm not familiar with the word butterball applied to a person. What it conjures in my mind is butter put under the skin of a chicken or turkey that's being roasted. And thinking about it lead to me thinking about a "greasy" person, someone slick and dishonest 🤷🏻♂️
