I've spent a great deal of my childhood visiting a number of the bastides mentioned in the piece and still go to the area once or twice a year. I think it's worth mentioning that a lot of these little bastides and surrounding villages are really propped up by tourism and expats now

Just seen the times hace written about why Mishal Husain left the BBC. She wanted this job and came down to the last three. But BBC chose kuenssberg! Why!?

For politicians etc sure but I think if it's individuals, family members I think a laugh that peeters off and makes it clear you think they're not well can be effective

I think she was looking for a reaction. I think she knew what she was doing and maybe thought she'd even get an applause or something. I have relatives like this. Sometimes it's better to laugh (like some did). Or just be like okay 🙄 and move on. It makes them look crazier and isolated
