I think much of the problem is that they cram so many seats and make the aisle so narrow there is no opportunity for transfer equipment that would avoid all the "manhandling"

I would add bringing back the fairness doctrine and eliminating the electoral college, though that is more complicated as it would mean an amendment to the constitution.
