That ‘posture’ came a price to the American taxpayer. We can’t afford to maintain it AND do everything else. It’s a zero sum world. We have to prioritize. Right now, those priorities are not in line with what the American people want. They are in line with what you describe as “posture.” 🤷♂️

You say realism, I say doomsday approach. I would gladly accept the rank of 3rd or 4th, if it meant we could afford to establish a more egalitarian society with a higher standard of living for working people and better wealth distribution equality.
