Morse Code: Every day I thank you, Compassionate Goddess Veniana, for your wisdom and generosity. And I will accept your gifts with humility, and my devotion to you will be boundless. I pray for peace and harmony, and may your compassionate eternal soul hear my plea. The 13th of the month of Aquamarine, 754 A.D. And here I am at home… I am overwhelmed with mixed feelings. On the one hand, joy from being surrounded by familiar faces, views, rooms from childhood. On the other hand, sadness, because I will never leave my hometown due to illness. This is my small loss, which will be with me forever. I am happy that I have traveled a lot in recent years. It seems that I have seen so many amazing places and communicated with so many wonderful people that these impressions will last for the rest of my life. I am sure that Compassionate Veniana has slowed down the progress of my illness so that I can fulfill my dream of writing a book about tales from different parts of our country. Now I will spend my Goddess-given life praying for peace and harmony.

A photo from a secret foray. I wasn't allowed to leave the hospital then, but my new friend and I had a night escape! It was terribly scary and hilariously fun. I haven't felt so alive in a long time! 2nd of the month of Lun, 753 A.D. When I was able to walk again as before, I was allowed to take a walk outside the hospital. Of course, as soon as I had the opportunity, I went to the caves nearby. It's dangerous in my condition, but when else will I have the chance to go there? I'm afraid I'll never be able to travel again. I was accompanied by people who had known these places since childhood. There are several legends associated with these caves, and a particularly creepy one about a cave with a lake. They say that the spirit of a drowned woman lives in that lake, and at night you can hear her moaning inside the cave. I'm sure that the sounds are caused by the wind that passes through the unevenness and holes in the cave. But the legend itself is described with such amazing details and particulars that I will definitely include it in my collection of legends and tales.

Some date of some month I had another flare-up. The last one was two years ago, I think? Yes, I haven't always felt well in the last few months or even a year, but it already seemed to me that the disease was retreating. ...In fact, I always knew that my body would never heal. Since that very first attack. Now I'm in a hospital in a strange city. From the window of my room there is an amazing view of the sea. The only joy.

43rd day of the month of Lynx, 753 A.D. I managed to visit the ancient ruins of the temple of the former gods! Archaeologists from the expedition in the desert found out that I was nearby and invited me to take part in the excavations. I refused, since I cannot change my plans, but I went with them to inspect the ruins. The architecture of the buildings is so unusual, could our ancestors really have created such magnificence while worshiping pagan gods? People of the past were skilled craftsmen and artists who created an amazing culture. It is a pity that an entire civilization fell into decline due to the worship of unfaithful gods. But now we serve the Compassionate Veniana, and the truth is on our side. My father believes that studying the culture of the fallen will not lead to anything good, and it is necessary to demolish all the ruins. I don’t agree, because our Goddess calls us to enlightenment, but how can we enlighten without knowledge?

19th of the month of Saint Emmit, 753 A.D. I came to my grandmother in the village at the beginning of winter. The weather was disgusting - slush and endless fog. My expectations did not match reality, after all, frosty and snowy winters are rare in these parts. Grandma feels well. We spent the winter holidays together in peace. During the day I help my grandmother with the housework, and in the evenings I copy tales and legends into a clean copy. I am afraid of forgetting some of the subtleties of the stories that I heard during my journey, and therefore I do not put off copying until later. Sometimes I am too tired during the day, and in the evening I only have enough strength for reading. I took care to take several thick volumes with me, although my father dissuaded me from taking such a burden with me on the road. He was wrong - I am sure that by the end of my stay with my grandmother, I will have read all the books I brought with me.

7th day of the month of Roka, 752 A.D. I felt better, so I joined the excavation group in the south of N.P. as a volunteer. I don’t know what came over me. It turned out to be quite an exciting job, albeit painstaking. Naturally, I was not given anything valuable to clear. Just various shards, of which there are already plenty. The heat can be unbearable, but clay houses protect from the sun. After a tiring day of work, we organize creative evenings. It always seemed to me that I was not a very good singer, even though I love this activity. But people admired my singing so sincerely, which greatly embarrassed me. Meanwhile, I admired the ability of the volunteers from our group to dance and tell stories. I wrote down some of the tales separately in my notebook.

54th of Saturn 752 A.S. It was a wonderful time. The salty tropical air certainly did me good. I found myself on Ogoho Island at the right time of year when the fresh breeze allows you to breathe freely with your chest. If I had arrived a little earlier, the stifling heat would have only worsened my already shaky health. I met some local divers - they gave me special goggles for diving under the water. To be honest, I could hardly see anything. I was diving near the shore, and the water was cloudy due to the suspension. I was afraid to swim further from the shore - after all, I was not feeling very well anyway. Nevertheless, I enjoyed watching the fish and jellyfish that swam past me.

9th of the month of Narcissus, 752 A.D. I haven't walked in the woods for so long. A simple walk with nice people. Admiring nature, chatting about nothing, playing funny games. I didn't want this day to end. But always, always, always, always, always after a bright sunset comes darkness. Why? Beautiful moments slip away, no matter how hard I try to grab onto them. But it's so nice to fall asleep tired after a long, fun day spent in wonderful company.

25th of the month of Sokol, 752 A.D. The hike to the mountains was difficult. It suddenly snowed, and our feet kept sinking into it. We had to pitch the tent earlier than we expected, so our plans changed. As a result, we were unable to reach the planned location by evening. It was dangerous to walk to the designated point in the dark, although the weather had calmed down by that time. The only relief from this trip was that I was able to see the peak of Veniana a little closer. I am afraid that I will never be able to climb to the very top and will regret it for the rest of my life. I prayed on Mount Eleva, turning my gaze to the peak of our Goddess. 13th of the month of Klyona, 751 A.S. I stayed with my distant relative. A. is so young, but already holds the position of lighthouse keeper. The lighthouse was turned off long ago as unnecessary, but someone is obliged to watch over it. I worry about her - could someone harm her, because she is all alone so far from the village. In response, she only laughs, saying that none of the strangers will even find their way here. It is really very quiet here, and during the time that I have lived here, no one has disturbed our peace. A. lives right in the lighthouse itself, in the inhabited rooms. The dampness of these rooms has a bad effect on me, so I settled in a house next to the lighthouse and constantly light the stove. Because of the cold air penetrating through the cracks of the house, it is sometimes difficult for me to fall asleep. All these household inconveniences could upset me if it were not for the nature around. When I look into the distance at the sea for a long time, the surface of the water becomes like a steel plate, and I imagine myself walking along it to the very edge of the earth. ---------- The lighthouse was founded in 555 AD, it’s hard to believe, because it has been so well preserved despite the centuries that have passed. A., like all the keepers before her, knows the entire history of the lighthouse and tells me about it in the evenings over a cup of tea.
