Gouche (and pastel)! I was stuck in my design school methods of using this medium for so long but applying it in the same way as I would acrylic or oil has given me results I was looking for.

More blackboard painting-drawings. Enjoying working on these but not a fan of acrylic paint, which feels toxic and unnatural to me. I’ll retry with gouche.
