I spent the day working on a new pen for my chickens. Two trips to Lowe's and lots of dollars later, still not finished. Had lots of purple spring blooms to look at.

Feels like spring today in my garden.

Our tree just needs a topper. My cat, Mr. Poofy, destroyed the star topper last year. We just might play it safe. :)

Missing my mom tonight. My son and I went to see A Christmas Carol at a local theater. While we were walking to our car after the play, I reached for my phone to call her and tell her about the play. It was a punch to my gut when I remembered that she passed away in June. Love you, mom.💔
