I had "lowering the age of consent to 10" on my doom card. Because it was okay by the U.S. military to rape little kids in 1918 as long as they were over 10.

What are the chances that the regime decides that US-ians who happen to have even any roughly Asian *sounding* surnames are ineligible, as would be any scientist who had previously worked with them?
(I'm not pretending the xenophobia won't limit research partners to US-ians only. Eventually.)
