Midwinter Marsh Walk. A painting from a walk around a forest lake in a large stretch of public land near me. My walks have been heavy-hearted lately as I think of friends and neighbors in the US civil service, whose job it is/was to protect these lands and make them available for walks like these.

A painting from a recent trip to Arches National Park in Moab Utah, one of our national treasures worth careful protection. I'm absolutely appalled by the mistreatment and illegal firings of dedicated National Park Service employees and other civil servants.
