Once, when leaving a voicemail going over labs with a cat caregiver, I forgot the phrase ‘waiting in the wings’ and proceeded to ramble on about ‘waiting in the area where the play people wait.’ Yes, I also forgot the word actor. No, the caregiver and I haven’t brought it up since.

When I was little the idea of a mannequin coming to life at night was terrifying. That is why I was 3 thinking Mannequin was a horror flick. Watch out Andrew McCarthy! Kim Cattrall is coming for you!
