A7: Oh! I also make personalized library passes for my teachers based on their interests (to the best of my ability). Sometimes I connect them to books I know they love, cultures they are from, sports they follow, favorite animals… whatever tidbits I can pickup. #TLSkyChat

I do a Question of the Day on a dry erase easel. Super easy and most of the time I can put a student aide in charge of changing it! 😊 This year it has been more frequently me, but the kids love getting to pick the questions!

A7: The most popular thing I’ve EVER done for staff only cost me time. I made bookmarks with their pet photos. I made them one laminated copy of each pet they gave me (this was a surprise gift I hand delivered) and put out copies for student use in the library. Everyone LOVED them! #TLSkyChat

A7: I’ve also done a Double Good popcorn giveaway! I made it into a bigger event for staff that also included stickers, a Wipebook giveaway, and free books! My goal was to get them into the library and get them thinking about the space, reading, and collaboration! #TlSkyChat

A1: My Library logo is simple- books and my school/library name in bright colors. I have it in a few layouts for various purposes. I’ve been using it for about 3 years and try to put it on anything I share within my building. I even have it on a t-shirt that my assistant principal mentioned wanting!
