Are you a T-shaped project manager? A T-shaped manager is someone who has broad skills for working across the organization but deep domain knowledge and specialist skills in one domain - in our case, that would be project, program and/or portfolio management.

If virtual teams are to be successful, it's important to invest in offline collaboration as well. That's phone calls, meetings in person and social events (that are not on Zoom) because that's the best and fastest way to build trust.

Kindness is like snow, it beautifies everything it covers ~ Khalil Gibran. Even if it isn't snowing where you are, you can take a moment to think how you can sprinkle kindness over your project, team and stakeholders. Just watch and see what happens.

Don't wait for opportunities on your projects. Create them. Call the exec. Talk to the client. Make a decision. It's your project, so what would happen if you decided to lead it instead of just taking part?
