Meeting with Lt Col Veton Elshani in North #Mitrovica. He explained the #Kosovo Police's operational plan in response to reported cases of sexual harassment on the streets. New units now patrol 24/7, each with 2 officers, one of whom wears a body camera & at least one of whom is Serbian-speaking.

In 2011, Ebubeker (then aged 13) was one of the first children that our #Kosovan #NGO The Ideas Partnership (TIP) got into school. I saw him last week picking up his son & niece after their day at TIP's kindergarten. Here's to education, to brilliant fathers, & to inter-generational transformation!
