I’m currently looking for conferences or PhD workshops to present my paper next year, but I’m having trouble finding suitable options🥀.

Does anyone have recommendations for events focused on #SocialSciences, #PoliticalEconomy, #EUPolicies, or #NaturalResources?💚

It's ironic that I can't really cancel my Disney+/Hulu subscription since I get it part of my Spectrum subscription for free but that doesn't mean I can still boycott them by not watching their content. Censoring Jimmy Kimmel was a not so-wise move.

Sharing restrictions on TikTok have reached the EU? A video analyzing Trump’s push to amend the Constitution for a third term—mirroring Putin—and his ties to Musk, resembling Russia’s oligarchy, was restricted. Can this be considered an infringement on free speech?

Trump calling “Colombia” “Columbia” isn’t just a slip; it’s a subtle power play. Names matter, and botching them signals dismissal. Like Maduro ignoring Panamanian President Mulino’s name, it undercuts legitimacy and keeps Colombia in a subordinate role.
Trump's White House misspelled the nation of Colombia as "Columbia", confusing the country with the university in an official White House announcement. 😏 🙄 #USPolitics

Will it finally be time for Latin Americans to become disenchanted with the #USA? Yesterday's events in #Colombia didn't reflect poorly on Petro's presidency; rather, they showed what happens to a small country that tries to stand up against a hegemon. We'll need more to survive Trump!
