Portsmouth has a history of defying immoral orders from the President—a tradition we need to uphold. At the Pease board, I spoke on how Col. Whipple defied President Washington by refusing to return a slave. We must follow this precedent by standing against inhumane ICE deportations. #NHPolitics

I was horrified to see bystander video of ICE agents abducting a man outside Manchester District Court. This inhumane treatment must stop. I’ll be working with my colleague @lilyfornh.bsky.social this weekend to spread awareness in Manchester about civil rights during #ICE encounters. #NHPolitics

During today's budget hearing, I spoke up about how young people are being forced out of our state. With massive shortfalls for our K12 and university system, it is clear that we are not investing in the next generation. We need to provide opportunities for young people, not close doors.
